AppCard, a next-generation customer loyalty platform that is changing the way brick-and-mortar stores communicate with their customers, announced today that it has been named an RSPA Certified Retail Technology Provider. In accordance with RSPA’s industry standards, AppCard received the certified technology provider status by demonstrating a commitment to excellence and an exceptional level of professionalism. As an RSPA Certified Retail Technology Provider, AppCard is recognized for its ethical and fair standards and for standing behind the products and services it sells and supports.
The Retail Solutions Providers Association, the only association dedicated to the retail technology industry, launched its industry Certification Program on July 13, 2009. The Certification Program is a new way to identify professionals in the retail technology industry and was developed to set and maintain the bar of professionalism for retail technology vendors and resellers.
Certification offers assurances to the public, including those who use the accredited vendors’ products and professional services, that they are working with a company that is a distinguished solution provider. Recently the National Restaurant Association released the ‘8 Essential Elements of Owning POS,’ which encourages end-users to work only with RSPA Certified solution providers. “RSPA is very pleased to bring an industry association supported certification program to the Retail Technology marketplace,” said Joe Finizio, RSPA President & CEO. “This program was developed to set and maintain the bar of professionalism for retail technology vendors and resellers. AppCard has proved that it is worthy of this certification by demonstrating superior products and customer service.”
“Obtaining RSPA’s certification demonstrates our commitment to providing unsurpassed service to our customers,” said Yair Goldfinger, Cofounder and CEO of AppCard. “The certification further differentiates us from the competition and highlights the importance that we attach to protecting our customers’ most valuable asset—their customers’ loyalty.”
The Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) is the only association dedicated to the retail technology industry. RSPA members include resellers, hardware manufacturers, software developers, consultants, finance companies, and distributors bringing retail technology products and/or services to the marketplace. The RSPA provides education, industry advocacy, standards, services and benefits to assist member companies in expanding their businesses.
AppCard is a next-generation customer loyalty platform that is changing the way brick-and-mortar stores communicate with their customers. The platform provides merchants with effective tools to raise profits and increase customer retention: a five-tier loyalty platform, a deep analytics engine, rewards, and personalized offers. With AppCard, launching a loyalty program is easy and intuitive. The setup requires no integration with the merchant’s POS and takes less than 20 minutes. The AppCard smartphone and Web-based applications increase stickiness, making offers more visible to customers and driving more customers into a merchant’s store again and again. Founded in 2011 by the team behind ICQ (the world’s first Internet-wide instant messaging service, which changed the way people communicate online), Dotomi (changing the way e-tailers communicate with their customers over the Web), and Jajah (changing the way consumers initiate international phone calls over the Web), AppCard is changing the way brick-and-mortar stores acquire and retain their customers.
